” I commended the new owner and investor of the mill, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, President, of Love World Ministry (Christ Embassy) while I noted that the acquisition and resuscitation of the former state-owned Bendel Feed and Flour Mill have brought agricultural expansion and development to Esan people and Edo State in general.

“I went round the facilities and I saw a lot of expansion that has taken place. Some obsolete machines have been refabricated and I’m very impressed. There are also new plants waiting for installation. These machines are capable of producing 25 tonnes per hour. This goes to show that when you inject new equipment into facilities like this, you inject new life and the multiplier effect is always huge.

“The products are environmentally friendly.

” While I encourage farmers in the area to take full advantage of these products to boost their agricultural production, I reiterated our stand as a Government – we will continue to create an enabling environment for private investments and partnerships.”
