Tinubu: Those Saying Today Is Black Monday Are Cursing Themselves –Reno Omokri
By Daniel Dafe
Former presidential aide and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at Peter Obi supporters for describing today’s inauguration event of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th President of Nigeria as ‘Black Monday.’
‘Obidients early Monday published fliers with the inscription: May 29- 2023-Black Monday- The Day Democracy Died, saying that democracy in Nigeria has been destroyed because according to them Obi won the election.
But in a tweet, Omokri, said: “When you say today is a Black Monday for Nigeria, you are cursing yourself, not Nigeria.”

“Nigeria is the largest Black nation on Earth, so what do you expect? A White Monday for a Black Country? Black is beautiful. And the next four years will be blissful for Nigeria and Nigerians. It is only for those wishing evil for Nigeria that the next four years won’t be good.”
Meanwhile, he stated that he still supports Waziri Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party, adding “And I support Nigeria. May God bless Nigeria, Yesterday, today and forever in Yeshua’s Name.”
