Publishe, Secret Reporters, Fejiro Oliver, has revealed that the younger brother of immediate past Governor of Delta State, Tony Okowa, has been given a nod by the governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori to build a hockey field in Orerokpe, Okpe Local Government Area of the state.

Oliver who said this in a Facebook post on Saturday, said that Tony Okowa proposed to the governor to carry out this project.

“Kai, these guys see Sheriff finish,” he said.

Adding: “And Sheriff has approved that it will be done.”

He wondered why it is a hockey and not a football field that wants to be built.

He also wrote: “Who plays Hockey in Nigeria?

“And even if they play Hockey in Delta State, why not build it in Asaba even though we know it will be moribund in three months time.

“But of course, they have to work on Sheriff as jobmen, using his local government as the tribal sentiment to get him to approve.

“And my friend without questioning their motives and intents” gave approval.

He continued: “Sheriff should better not waste that N500 million in that Orerokpe to build any useless Hockey games field.

“Orerokpe need roads and lights to be fixed in his shortlived government. Nobody will lift a wood to play that Hockey.

“We have not finished maintaining football stadium, na Hockey Agbor man carry job am and he just fall enter the trap.”
