Okpe Kingdom Declares 3rd July ‘Day Of Fasting And Prayer’

Sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom are expected to participate in the fasting and prayer programme scheduled to hold on the 3rd of July, 2023.

This is just as the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom declared the said day a ‘Day of Fasting & Prayers’ for the kingdom.

A statement signed by His Royal Eminence, Archbishop Iboyi Godday, Spiritual Leader of Okpe Kingdom (Host) and His Royal Majesty, Maj. Gen Felix Mujakperuo (rtrd) Mni GFR Orhue1, the Orodje Of Okpe Kingdom (Chief Host), said: “Wherever you are on the earth, either maternally or paternally Okpe, you are expected to assemble your family and any Okpe indigene around you to observe this prayer.”

Adding: “If you are a worker, you are expected to observe the fasting and prayer at your working place.”

The statement urged sons and daughters to follow the prayer points which include Prayer of Thanksgiving, Prayer Of Mercy, Prayer for Unity among all Okpe people worldwide, Prayer for peace for the King, the kingdom and the people and Prayer for development of Okpe Kingdom (for God to bring foreign and local investors to the kingdom).

Others are Prayer for all Okpe sons and daughters to give their lives to God genuinely and accept Jesus Christ as their lord and personal savior and Prayer for our Executive Governor, Delta State and Nigeria.

“Those that will be coming to the palace to pray with the king should be there by 9am on the 3rd of July 2023, because the king will be observing the fast with those that will be coming,” the statement added.
