Property Agent Jailed For Selling Land With Forged Documents In Kaduna
The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has secured a conviction of one Abubakar Munkailu, a property agent, before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court, Kaduna on a one count charge bordering on forgery.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge. Consequently, the prosecution counsel, N. Salele urged the court to convict him accordingly. Justice Khobo convicted and sentenced him to 5 years imprisonment or a fine of N100,000. He has since restituted the complainant.

Munkaila, a property agent at Danbushiya, Chikun Local Government Area ran into trouble when he sold four plots of land located at Millennium City, Kaduna valued at N 4,175,000, which did not belong to him , with forged documents.
