Katsina NNPP Disbands Structure, Decamps To APC
The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has received the State and Local Government Executive Members of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), who decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The decampees led by Sen. Abdullahi Yandoma were received by the Governor and the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Sani Aliyu among other party stakeholders.
Presenting the APC membership to the decampees, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda said that the APC is aware of the support they gave to its success despite the challenges they encountered from the NNPP stakeholders. The Governor added that the decampees have decided to join the APC without any conditions but rather based on the competency of the APC candidates and the party’s commitment to move the State forward.
Receiving the decampees, the State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Sani Aliyu, assured to carry them along to move the party to the next level. He, further, informed them that the Governor has appointed Special Adviser on party liaison and political affairs to ensure fairness and justice among party members in the State.

Earlier, the former NNPP Chairman, Alhaji Sani Liti Yan Kwani, and Senator Abdullahi Yandoma appreciated the warm reception accorded to them by the APC stakeholders and assured to provide all the needed support and cooperation to achieve the desired political success of the ruling APC.
