Ofomana: 2023 Elections Took Me To The 8 LGAs In Delta Central, Will Be Senator In 2027

A chieftain of the Labour Party in Delta State, Evang Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana aka Sambisa forest has said that he is qualified to be the next Senator representing the people of Delta Central in the Red Chambers, come 2027.

Speaking to journalists recently, he added that during the 2023 elections, the party’s guber candidate, Ken Pela appointed him as DG Campaign for Delta Central Senatorial District, which he said conveniently took him round the eight local government areas that makes up the senatorial district.

In his words: “I, Evang Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana aka Sambisa forest, operated carrying Deacon Ken Pela governorship round the eight local government areas of delta central senatorial district, by arrangement making me, Evang Dr Austin Akpo Ofomana aka Sambisa forest a right peg in the right hole in respect of Delta central senatorial district politics.”

He continued: “I am a well known person and very familiar with the politics of Delta central senatorial district. Let us cast our minds back to my days in PDP political party. I also romanced with the Senatorial seat back 2019. My records are there, haven obeyed my masters voice at that time asking me to step down for a well respected leader of ours, who later lost the Senatorial seat to another party. This is the brief history of my delta central senatorial district politics, between then and now still very active along the political lines of Delta State politics; calling to mind my romance with the prestigious governorship of Delta State before I finally decided to join hands with Deacon Ken Pela who was involved in the keenly contested battle for the governorship seat of Delta State and yet undecided because of the obvious manipulation and rigging of the election. The court of law will soon decide the case, with our hope on God whom we trust, the court case will be in Ken Pela’s favour which is Delta Labour party.
