Police On The Trail Of Killers Of Abraka Based Okada Rider, Vwede
Police in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State are said to be on the look out for those behind the brutal killing and decimation of the body of a commercial Okada (motorcycle) rider at Abraka, Delta State.
The victim whose name was given as Mr Wisdom Oghenevwede Aminah aged 26, met his untimely death in the hands of the alleged killers at the wee hours of Sunday, July 16, 2023, while on his usual commercial bike rides in the university town of Abraka.

A family contact, Mr Wilson Aminah disclosed that Vwede, who is his junior brother, left home on the day in question in his newly purchased bike but failed to come back home, even till midnight.
He stated that the body of Vwede (as the deceased is fondly called) was discovered by some passers-by along Majoroh beach road, few metres to the Army barracks in a pool of blood with multiple stabs and a slashed neck.
The killers, after ensuring the death of their victim, took his bike and an Android phone while leaving a Nokia torchlight phone on his blood soaked body.
When contacted, the depressed father of the deceased in his home Eku town, Mr John Aminah.who was downcast over his son’s brutal killing in the hands of evil boys, narrated how the family was contacted over the incident, through the Nokia phone found on late Vwede’s body.
He further explained that the “Samaritans” made a call to a phone address of a pastor’s wife, believed to be a childhood friend of the slain Vwede at Eku.
John Aminah (deceased father) who was on the day in question busy with burial arrangements of his late aunt in Eku, described his late son as a coolheaded, quiet, God fearing and a hardworking young man that he so treasured.
The police is said to have deposited the body at the Central Hospital Mortuary, Abraka while investigation continues.
