We Will Partner Jamani Ejiro To Push ‘MORE’ Agenda In Our Coverage Areas, Sapele NUJ Tells Gov Oborevwori

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel, Delta State, has assured the Governor of the State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, of their support in pushing his MORE Agenda in their coverage areas, just as the Union applauded the appointment of a youth in Sapele as a member of his cabinet.
In an Appreciation Letter signed by Comrade Nelson Agbajor, Chairman, NUJ Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel and Comrade Daniel Umukoro, Secretary, NUJ Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel, the body thanked the governor for appointing a prominent Sapele youth, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro, an Indigene of one of their coverage areas.
“Your Excellency, Sapele Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ is particularly happy about this development and great gesture that a youth has been called upon to serve as a Commissioner in your administration because Sapele is one of our areas of coverage as a chapel, hence, this appreciation/commendation,” the statement added.

Continuing, Sapele NUJ said: “You had assured the youths that they will be given a place in your adminstration and this appointment and that of many other youths across the state as Commissioners has gladdened the youths of Delta and NUJ Sapele Chapel deemed it fit to throw our weight behind our Sapele youth, Mr. Jamani Tommy Ejiro by thanking our pragmatic governor.”
Furthermore, the Union, stated that the said “appointment is a reflection of the present reality greeted with applause,” adding: “We (Sapele NUJ Chapel) chose not to be left out of the euphoria.”
“We are proud of this pick and assure you that he will deliver, while we promise to partner with him as a union to push the M.O.R.E agenda in our area,” the statement added.
The coverage areas of Sapele NUJ are Sapele, Okpe, Ethiope East, Ethiope West and Warri North Local Government Areas.
