Presiding Bishop Answer’s Assembly & Convener, Founders and Assistant Ministers Academy (FAMA), Irabor Wisdom, has drawn lessons from Bishop David Oyedepo’s continuous closeness to the family of Late Archbishop Benson Idahosa many years after the gospel icon’s exit.

In his latest teaching posted on his Facebook page, drawing lessons from a picture taken from the just concluded
convention of the Church of God Mission founded by the late cleric, he drew three lessons all ministers must know, saying that Papa Idahosa will be happy in heaven over the closeness of Bishop Oyedepo to the family he left behind.

Recall that Bishop Oyedepo, Founder, Living Faith Church was a Guest Speaker at the convention that held recently in Benin City, Edo State, where the late cleric’s wife, Archbishop Margaret Idahosa, also celebrated her 80th birthday.

He said: “Some sons will be there for life, even when you are long gone to be with the Lord.”

To Spiritual Fathers, he quizzed: “This your current son that is not consistent now that you are even alive, do you think he will be there when you are gone to be with the Lord?”

He continued: “If you want to control a son against other fathers or mentors that he chooses to relate with, you will stress the relationship with your ego problem.

“You think Mama Idahosa doesn’t know that Papa Oyedepo is a son of Daddy G.O? And also a mentee of Papa Kenneth and Gloria Copeland? If a son has the capacity to honour a father and several mentors, please allow him manage all of them.

“Some fathers or mothers would have said you cant be here and be there.”

He prayed for God’s help to enable spiritual leaders in the church discern sons who just love them and decide to be close and not necessarily because they begot them in the faith.

On his third point, he said: “No matter how big you have become, never forget the efforts and input of men who assisted you spiritually on your journey to the top.”

“Mama is reaping the rewards of the investments of her late husband on Papa Oyedepo.

“You that want people to remember you like this, what is your current investment in the younger generation?

“Quote me anywhere, Papa Idahosa invested so much on sons outside of Church of God Mission.

“He raised more men in the body of Christ and not just in Church of God Mission,” he added.
