Dr Oke Idawene, Chairman/Convener, Integrity Group has again taken a swipe at the Bola Tinubu administration.

The political leader who is also the National Publicity Secretary, North and South Progressive Movement, NOSOP, in a statement, said: “I want to express my displasure over the way President Tinubu is handling the economic situation in Nigeria.

“Like I said in my last publication, if he is not ready he can vacate the seat for those that are ready.”

According to him, “the protest by NLC is justifiable, timely, fruitful to show to the common man that we are still together.”

He continued: “As it is, I want Nigerians to ask questions such as -what happened to our refineries and why did he not fix them before removing the fuel subsidy,” saying: “Dangote refinery is a scam. They said they will resume July 1, where is it?”

He wondered why an uncompleted refinery will be commissioned?

“It was supposed to go into full scale operations after commissioning; until that is done, it’s a big scam,” he said.

Furthermore, he said: “We agree the subsidy should be removed but why did he not fix our refineries before the purported deregulation.

“As it stands, Tinubu is bereft of ideas. He should sit up or vacate the seat. He cannot take us on a ride anymore. Nigerians are too wise now for such solo ride or such issues and promises of fools’ paradise or living in a eutopian society. To this end, I, Dr. Oke Idawene is calling all Nigerians to resist every act of bad governance. We demand good governance. Tinubu said ‘Emilokan’ meaning it’s his turn.

“Imagine the president that won his election since February could not even assemble his team he is still submitting ministerial list as at today. It is an aberration and we disagree with such governance. To this end Nigerians should arise and tell the president the truth. Let him do the correct thing or resign honorably. Let those that are ready take over to lead us . this is my take and the common take on the street,” he averred.
