Police Arrest Man With 250 Live Cartridges Along Benin-Asaba Expressway

Police operatives attached to Dragon Patrol have arrested one Omoruyi Osemudiamen for possession of two hundred and fifty (250) rounds of live cartridges.
The said police team members were said to be on a visibility and confidence-building patrol along Benin/Asaba Expressway at Issele-uku, when they intercepted a commercial Sienna vehicle and subjected the passengers and their bags to a search.

Police Spokesman in Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed the arrest in a statement on Sunday, added that “during the search, the said live cartridges were concealed in a bag.
Adding: “The owner of the bag Identified as Omoruyi Osemudiamen ‘m’ age 46yrs was arrested and taken into custody. Investigation is ongoing.”
