Road Crashes Account For High Mortality Rates In Nigeria –FPRO

The Force Public Relations Officer of the Police, FPRO, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has cautioned against cars and motorcyles overtaking from the right side, saying that road crashes account for high mortality rates in Nigeria.

In a post on X, the police image maker, said: “I feel so sad and concerned when I see some drivers and riders overtaking from the right side, instead of the left side.”

Adding: “It’s a traffic offence to do that. Most especially, Okada (Motorcycle) riders.”

“Dont be careless or reckless when you drive so that you dont risk your life and the lives of other road users. You must drive to be alive,” he said.
