8th Delta Assembly: Nwaobi Heads Information, Special Committee On Bills.
The Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly and member representing Aniocha North Constituency, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi has been appointed as Chairman of House Committees On Information and Special Committee on Bills.
The appointment of Hon. Nwaobi was announced during plenary on Thursday, 7th September, 2023.
By virtue of his position as the Majority Leader, he is the chairman of all chairmen.
The Majority Leader who was hailed by journalists at the end of the plenary, commended them for their support thus far, while promising to enhance the relationship of his office with the media going forward.

In particular, he is in the process of framing a workable modus of operation for the Assembly Press Crew which is under his supervision, in order to ensure a robust media relationship with the State Legislature and its staffers.
