Ekabo Commends Oborevwori For Approval To Fix Agbor-Obiaruku-Abraka-Eku Road, As Obakpor Construction Visits Affected Sites

Very Rev Fr Christopher Ekabo, Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Church, Obiaruku, Delta State, & Dean of Obiaruku Deanery, has commended Governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori, over the approval and award of Agbor-Obiaruku-Abraka-Eku Road Palliative Works to Obakpor Engineering & Construction Company Ltd.

The cleric in an Open Letter of Commendation on Thursday, noted that the move was as a result of various appeals, pleas and his personal engagements with Gov. Oborevwori on the above subject matter, recalling how he promised to do something on the road based on his MORE agenda to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

The letter read further: “Today Thursday, 14th September, 2023 the Contractor visited the sites of the affected roads and spent the whole day doing assessments. I had elaborate discussions with the contractor too.

“Tomorrow Friday, 15th, the Contractor has promised to move materials to site. I have offered him part of my Church premises for safe keeping of some of the equipments in Christ the King Catholic Church, Obiaruku if the need arises.

“This cheering news is timely and commendable. This is to say a very big thank you to the you, the Delta State action Governor with the people’s oriented MORE Agenda. God bless you real great. 7kpozas for the Local Content Governor who is very sensitivity to the people’s cry.”
