Ezeh Pledges Igbos Continuous Support For Oborevwori Over His Appointment

The immediate past President of Ohaneaze Ndigbo Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts, Chief ( Sir ) Michael Ezeh ( JP ) has pledged Igbos continuous support for Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ).

This was contained in his speech during a party held by some chieftains of Ndigbo Political Ambassadors ( NPA ) in celebration of his appointment as a member of Delta State Advisory And Peace Building Council in Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area on Wednesday, 4th October, 2023 .

Ezeh who is a former Executive Assistant ( EA) to former Governor Okowa on Community Development expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for the appointment just as he remarked that it was the first time a non indigene was appointed into such an exalted council.

He promised not to disappoint the governor and the Igbos with the appointment.

Ezeh had expressed appreciation to God that the sacrifices of the Igbos for Governor Oborevwori and the PDP was yeilding good fruits with his appointment.

He however said that it was a collective efforts of the Igbos particularly with members of NPA such as Nze Francis Onuora ( a former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Okowa on Community Development ) Ogbonnaya Igwe PHD ( former Special Assistant to former Governor Okowa on Community Development ) Comrade Festus Ukeje ( former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Okowa on Political Matters ) among others.

He also expressed optimism that Governor Oborevwori will offer more appointments to the Igbos because according to him, Governor Oborevwori has promised to do so.

Ezeh therefore urged Igbos that have not gotten appointments to be patient .

He was also full of appreciation for former Governor Okowa for believing in the Igbos.

“By the grace of God, he will become the next Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria very soon,” he stated.

He further appreciated the Igbos for celebrating his appointment in such a wonderful way.
