Igbos Are Happy And Proud To Identify With Oborevwori - Onuora

A chieftain of Ndigbo Political Ambassadors ( NPA ) Nze Francis Onuora has stated that the Igbos in Delta State were happy and proud to identify with Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori over his laudable achievements recorded so far.

Onuora who is a former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Community Development stated this when he played host to Umuna ( good friends ) Social Club, Ndigbo Political Ambassadors ( NPA), chieftains of Ohaneaze Ndigbo Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) , church members , relations and friends in a grand style at the weekend.

The renowned sports wears and equipment merchant, proudly remarked that Governor Oborevwori was a friend of the Igbos just as he noted that former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, laid foundation of the friendship between the Igbos and Governor Oborevwori.

” We are happy that we voted and supported the right candidate, ” Onuora stated.

He explained that the colourful event was also held to celebrate the friendship between the Igbos and Governor Oborevwori.

Onuora disclosed that Governor Oborevwori and himself were good friends right from their secondary school days.

He therefore urged Igbos , other non-indigenes and Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Oborevwori and PDP.
Meanwhile Nze Francis Onuora got kudos from very respected guests for hosting the event.

The Secretary of Ohaneaze Ndigbo Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts, Ogbonnaya Igwe PHD remarked that Nze Francis Onuora was a man of the people.

” He is highly respected by the Igbos and friends of the Igbos. He is a proud Igbo man but he is not tribalistic . He is a friend to all.l,” Igwe added.

Likewise, the Chairman of Ogbako Ndi Anambra Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts Nze Iruka Umeodunukwe affirmed that Nze Francis Onuora was a selfless leader who was trusted and tested.

The Chairman of Umuna Social Club, Chukwuemeka Ozofor remarked that Nze Francis Onuora was one of the unifying forces behind the prestigious Igbo social/ cultural association .

In his contribution, a highly distinguished Urhobo born Udu Chief Chief Chiapele Mike who is a one time Chairman of Udu Timber Traders Association affirmed that Nze Francis Onuora was a non tribalistic and that he was also friend to non Igbos.

An elated wife, Nze Onuora, Josephine expressed appreciation to God for the huge success of the event.
