Okorodudu Charges University Alumni Associations On Youth Development

The President of foremost Urhobo socio – political group, Urhobo Peoples Intergrty Organisation , Ebenezer Okorodudu PHD has charged university alumni associations on the development of youths .
The respected Olomu chief gave the charge in a lecture titled ‘Youth , Ethics And National Development : Alumni Association To The Rescue ? ‘ he delivered as a guest lecturer at the Worldwide National Convention of Ambrose Alli University ( AAU ) Alumni Association on Saturday 21st October, 2023.
He stated among other things that university alumni associations should promote membership and guidance to youths .
“Our life experiences both in the academic and the professional world serve as a treasure trove of wisdom that we can share with them ( youths ).”

Okorodudu who is a distinguished member of the AAU Alumni Association, advised members of the university alumni associations to organise workshops for youths so that they can be offered inspirations into the world application of ethics in diverse careers fields
He also enjoined university alumni associations to create platforms for open discussions on ethics and morals on dilemmas youths might face .
Okorodudu further advised that university alumni associations should provide resources, networking opportunities and scholarships aimed at empowering youths to reach their fullest potential.
“I call upon all my fellow Alumni to commit to this cause, to invest in the ethical growth of our youth, and to see it as our collective responsibility to rescue our nation from the challenges it faces.
“Together, we can guide our youths towards a brighter, more ethical, and more prosperous future for Nigeria. As a collective move, we can achieve even more than this lofty agenda if the will is strong enough,” he concluded.
