By Ambrose Ologide
Some concerned residents have called on concerned authorities to complete the evacuation of refuse along Warri/Sapele Road adjacent to Wema Bank.
Those that spoke to our correspondent took a swipe at the authority that responded to the media report on the uncleared heap of refuse from the dugouts from the canal under the refuse.

Mr Godwin Onotor told our correspondent that the refuse were cleared halfway by the said authority immediately it was reported by the Pointer Newspaper and aired in DBS pidgin chit chat program of ‘ Make Country Better ‘ following the said Pointer report ”
But for reasons best known to them , they abandoned the evacuation exercise and some unscrupulous residents have turned it to public refuse dump site” he added.
He then appealed to Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori to prevail on the authorities of Wastage Management Board to completely evacuate the heap of refuse as he affirmed that the heap of refuse was an eyesore particularly to a first time visitor to Warri .
