Tanker Explosion: Rights Activist Appeals To Oborevwori To Save Man Battling For His Life At Oghara Hospital

Popular rights activist in Delta State, Comrade Derrick Agberen has appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to come to the aid of one of the victims of the fuel tanker explosion that occured last week along Benin-Warri Road.

Agberen who said this in a statement on Thursday, added: “My attention was drawn to a victim from the tanker explosion, that took place on the 1st October, 2023, at Koko junction, Along Warri – Benin Expressway, name; Blaze Samuel Orerhime, who’s currently receiving treatment at ENOFES Medical Centre, a private hospital at Oghara. He is a native of Otor-Igho in isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.”

According to him, a member of the family, contacted him, saying that they have been trying their best as family members to resuscitate him but it seems that their best is not good enough, just as he said that the victim needs serious medical attention.

He continued: “From the attached video, the wounds inflicted on various parts of his body from the explosion are severe.

“However, I am calling on the Delta State Government, through his excellency; Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State, to intervene, coming to the aid of
Mr. Blaze Samuel Orerhime, ensuring he’s given proper medical care and attention, as the family cannot afford his treatment. I am also using this medium, to call on well-meaning Nigerians to assist the family in the best way you can.
