Rev Victor Ditimiya of The Divine Grace and Deliverance Church For All Nations has urged christians to serve God through total commitment and thanksgiving.

Rev Ditimiya who is the General Overseer of the ministry made the declaration on Sunday during the annual thanksgiving of the church located at Afiesere in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking on the message Why Are We Thanking God?, The servant of God said everyone had one reason or the other to appreciate God by thanking Him despite the economic hardship.

The servant of God said being alive was enough reason to show appreciation to God, saying that from January till now so many strange things had happened in the world allover in which some have died while others are in hospital.

According to Rev Ditimiya, “It is good that every christian should thank God. To be alive is not by our power but because God loved us. So many strange things are happening in the world today and from January till now, so many have died.

“Some people we shouted happy new month with are no longer alive. So we should give thanks to God for keeping us alive,” he stressed.

The servant of God who read from the book of 1Kings 3:4-15 said through quality thanksgiving, King Solomon was able to win the heart of God who blessed him with wisdom and material wealth far above other Kings in the land of Israel.

Rev Ditimiya said thanksgiving should be done with a joyful heart, dancing and with substances to show appreciation to God for His goodness over mankind.

The thanksgiving service was marked with song ministration, traditional dance, and presentation foodstuff.
