Ezeh Urges Non-Indigenes To Sustain Their Support For Oborevwori, PDP

A member of the Delta State Advisory And Peace Building Council, Chief ( Hon ) Michael Ezeh ( JP) has urged non indigenes in Delta State to sustain their support for Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) .

Ezeh made the call in a media chat with our correspondent shortly after he played host to non indigenes in Delta State at his Effurun residence last weekend.

He explained that the call was necessitated by the huge patronage of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the PDP so far.

Ezeh recalled that the patronage began since the administration of former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

” To who much is given , much is expected. So we should continue to support Governor Oborevwori and the PDP to reciprocate the gesture,” he added.

Ezeh disclosed that at the inaugural meeting of the Delta State Advisory And Peace Building Council, he was told that as part of his responsibilities , he was told to oversee the affairs of non-indigenes in Delta State.

It was unanimously agreed that Chief Michael Ezeh JP was the new leader of non indigenes in Delta State.

Non indigenes that were at the meeting in their speeches , appreciated and applauded Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for appointing a credible personality in person of Chief Ezeh to pilot the affairs of non-indigenes in Delta State just as they pledged their loyalty and support for the new leader of non-indigenes in Delta State.

They were also full of praises for Chief Ezeh for hosting non indigenes in a very colourful way just as they noted that Chief Ezeh’s call for the support for Governor Oborevwori and the PDP was in the right direction.

They proclaimed that the leadership of Ezeh who is a former Executive Assistant ( EA) was a new dawn of non-indigenes in Delta State.

Some distinguished non indigenes that attended the occasion were : former Senior Special Assistant( SSA )to former Governor Okowa on Community Development , Nze Francis Onuora , former Special Assistant ( SA) to former Governor Okowa on Community Development Ogbonnaya Igwe PHD, Senior Special Assistant ( SSA) to former Governor Okowa Duties, Muktal Lesman , immediate past Chairman Delta State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Auwalu Tukur , Onu Igala Delta State HRH Francis Y Salifu JP, Chief Eselor Kalu , Chinyere Wamue an engineer, Chief Hon J . Nwosu JP among others.
