“Gov Oborevwori Is The Reason I Returned To PDP” –Idawene
..Says PDP Will Return To Power In 2027
By Daniel Dafe
Chairman and Convener, Integrity Group of Delta State, Dr. Oke Idawene, has said that the personality of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is the reason why he returned to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, saying every PDP Governor should emulate Oborevwori in order for the party to return to power in 2027.
Idawene, who spoke to journalists recently, said he was once a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, but now a chieftain of the PDP, adding that he has no regrets for this decision.
He said: “This is the best decision I have taken in all my political life and I am ready to do all I can as a PDP chieftain in Delta and Nigeria to ensure that PDP comes on board in Nigeria, come 2027.”
Meanwhile, he opined that Delta State is PDP and that anyone planning or thinking another party will win Delta State is daydreaming and should wake up.
“Governor Sheriff is a divine mandate and nothing can unseat him,” he averred.
In his words: “The actions, developmental strides and tenacity, packaged as the MORE Agenda, alongside the humanitarian gestures of his wife, are enough to revive the PDP as a template in Nigeria,” just as he called on all governors to run their states the same way Delta is being run so that the PDP nationally can take power, come 2027.

According to him, anyone saying PDP is dead or in comatose was speaking in error because the Restoration Team has arrived.
Furthermore, he vowed that they will do all they can to ensure that PDP takes over in 2027 at the centre stage.
Speaking further, he said that the hunger in Nigeria is now at his peak because of the error President Tinubu made as it concerns the removal of fuel subsidy.
His words: “It was ill-timed and shows no proper understanding of the situation.
“We can’t lead on trial by error any more. The desperation of the APC as a party of strange bird fellows brought us to this ebb.”
Idawene also runs the ‘More Agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation Ambassadors’ in the state..
