Keyamo, Akasa, Erute Hail Abe 1 For Rebranding Uvwie Kingdom

The Hon Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Egwarewa Adeniyi Keyamo SAN, the Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa (JP) and the President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU), Chief Abovi Hope Erute have hailed HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON, Abe 1, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for positively rebranding the kingdom.

This was contained in their seperate remarks during a grand reception by Uvwie people held in honour of the Uvwie born minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the posh palace of the Ovie
of Uvwie Kingdom, GRA ,Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Saturday, 11th November, 2023 .

Keyamo SAN in his keynote address, remarked that Abe 1 rebranded Uvwie Kingdom from the unenviable name of ‘ Gbege ‘ ( youth restiveness ) to a kingdom of honour .

The legal luminary noted with pride that Abe 1 on ascension to the kingdom has produced his humble sell, Professor Joe Abugu ( SAN ), pilots, reputable politicians, among others that were doing fine in their fields of endeavours.

Akasa JP who is the highest tradititioal chief in Uvwie Kingdom, spoke in the same vein in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent during the epoch making event.

He noted that prior to the emergence of the highly esteemed tradititioal ruler, Uvwie has never celebrated heroes.

The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom noted also that the honour given to Olorogun Festus Egwarewa Adeniyi Keyamo SAN will spur Uvwie youths to aspire high in their various good fields of endeavours.

The President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU), Chief Abovi Hope Erute remarked that the reception was a good initiative by the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom and therefore a welcome development which he said will spur every Uvwie indigene to do things that they will honoured for.

Erute and Akasa had agreed in their seperate media interactions that Abe 1 had brought pride and honour to Uvwie on ascension to the throne over 15 years ago.

The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom had along with other highly placed royal fathers in Delta State offered special prayers for Olorogun Festus Keyamo SAN.

The event attracted other distinguished personalities from far and near as the Governor of Delta State Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori was ably represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Works ( Rural Areas ), Mr Charles Aniagwu.
