Warri Prophet, Jeremiah Fufeyin has said that he does not use tithe and offerings in meeting the needs of people who he chooses to help.

The cleric who is the founder of the popular Christ Mercy Land Ministry, Warri, said this during an interview while responding to questions from a content creator, Brodamike.

Brodamike who posted the video of the interview with the prophet on his Facebook page on Tuesday, had asked the church founder how he is able to part with so much money to the needy, wondering if he uses the church’s tithe and offering for philantropy.

In his words, the cleric, said that his church members give peanuts, saying the finances the church gets from members will not be enough to financially meet the assignment of taking care of the poor and needy.

He said: “Any pastor that tells you that it is church tithes and offering that he or she uses to build the house of God and do big things as a minister is a liar.”

He added: “I have thousands of members and every sunday about 25,000 persons come to church and these members give peanuts as offerings and tithes.”

“I get over three overflows every Sunday and yet the money that come in won’t do so much,” he revealed.

He continued: “We are for the poor; we pray for them and when God blesses them, they return back to the church.”

Speaking further, Prophet Fufeyin said he is a business man who is into fish farming and owns a poultry, stressing that he is a business man and does this alongside his ministry, just as he encouraged pastors to do other things and not depend on church for their upkeep and projects.

Meanwhile, he disclosed that he recently made N2.8 billion from his fish farm.

He stressed that he does his business to help the poor.
