PTI Final Year Student Electrocuted While Installing Solar Panels

A final year student of Petroleum Training Institute ( PTI) was electrocuted while Installing solar panels in a one storey building close to a commercial bank in the Warri Garage Area on Thursday, 19th October, 2023.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the aluminium ladder which the PTI final year student wanted to use in climbing to the position he intended to install the solar panels was magneted by very close high tension wires by the said commercial bank and that he was electrocuted in the process .
He was said not to have immediately died as a gallant passerby was said to have used a long dry plank to hit the aluminium ladder from the vibrating high tension wires and that the aluminium ladder was detached from the high tension wires which the young man was stuck to and unconscious.
He was said to have been immediately rushed to a nearby private clinic for treatment.

Unfortunately, the PTI final year student said to be writing his final project could not make it as he gave up the ghost shortly on arrival at the private clinic.
He lived with his parents at the nearby Bowen Avenue area.
His remains have been laid to rest in his country home in the South Eastern part of Nigeria on Saturday 28th October, 2023.
