The Twin Failures: Like Nigeria NLC Like NUT

In the perils of the Nigerian labour landscape, two prominent figures emerge with a shared fate, becoming the embodiment of failure and disappointment. Like the intertwining branches of a tree, the Nigeria NLC (Nigeria Labour Congress) and the NUT (Nigeria Union of Teachers) stand tall, but with an unshakeable determination to fall short.

The Nigeria NLC, once a beacon of hope for workers’ rights, now struggles under the weight of disillusionment. Like a wayward student, it fails to grasp the essence of its role, allowing the education system to crumble under its watch. The future of Nigeria lies in the hands of teachers and the education they provide, but the NUT, shackled by inertia, hampers progress and denies countless young minds the opportunity to thrive.
