US Based Doctor Accused Of Deceiving, Abandoning Deported Nigerian Students In Cyprus
The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation (NDRO) has called out a US-based medical doctor for allegedly abandoning two young Nigerians, known as the Happi Boys, in Cyprus after promising them a better life. The group said it was the unfulfilled promise of Dr. Ochu that led to the arrest and subsequent deportation of the boys from Cyprus.
The group said the promise came after they had issues with Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM) earlier this year.
The group also accused the doctor of engaging in dubious activities, including extorting money from young Nigerians through his NGO Doctor on Call . “He allegedly collected 5,000 naira from Nigerians with health challenges and then abandoned them, as in the case of a young lady named Miss Ogbonna Kalu from Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, who is also trending on social media”
The National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Nwokoma Messiah, issued a statement promising to make more revelations regarding the activities of the said doctor.

According to the group, the activities of Dr. Daniel Ochu are aimed at tarnishing the good efforts of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere and need to be exposed.
The alleged US Medical Doctor became involved in the dispute between the OPM General Overseer and the Happi Boys when Apostle Chinyere offered to return them to Nigeria to continue their studies. However, he allegedly made false promises, claiming to have contacts with the Vice President of Cyprus. This motivated the boys to make videos with damning allegations against the Port Harcourt-based clergy and also insulting him.
NDRO has expressed concern over these actions, which it sees as manipulative and exploitative of young Nigerians who have benefited from the good works of Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere. The organization plans to conduct investigations and forward its findings to relevant authorities to expose such culprits
This case has come to light after allegations against Apostle Chinyere, who was recently targeted in videos promising to bring him down, despite his church’s significant contributions to various areas in Nigeria, including maternal health, education, and empowerment.
