I’m Not Interested: Archbishop Iboyi Rejects Oborevwori’s Appointment As Member Of Christian Pilgrims Board

Founder of Overflow Chapel in Sapele and the Spiritual Leader of Okpe Kingdom, Archbishop Iboyi Godday has rejected his appointment as a member of the Christian Pilgrim and Welfare Board by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration in Delta State.
A statement on Saturday signed by Tetsola Anino Nelson, Permanent Secretary (State Protocol matters), For Secretary to the State Government, said His Excellency Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State has approved the appointments of Apostle Sylvanus Okorote – Chairman, Rev. Father Christopher Ekabo – Secretary, Arcbishop Godday Iboyi – Member and 4 others to serve in the said board.
Reacting in a statement on Sunday, the cleric stated that the appointment was done without his consent

While describing the appointment as insulting, he said he was not interested and has thus rejected the appointment.
