Oborevwori Has Given Agbarha Warri More Sense Of Belonging – Digbori

The Chairman of Agbarha Warri Regency Council (AWRC), High Chief Willie Atabefia Digbori JP has remarked that Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori has given Agbarha Warri more sense of belonging in Delta State.

The highly esteemed Agbarha Warri high chief, made the remark in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent while reacting to the ground breaking ceremony of Governor Oborevwori in the twin local government areas of Uvwie and Warri South at his Igbudu residence on Saturday, 2nd December, 2023 .

He proudly and gladly noted that the planned developmental projects in Warri South Local Government are in the ancient Urhobo Kingdom of Agbarha Warri.

Digbori also appreciated and applauded Governor Oborevwori for the completed gutter and road construction projects in Otovwodo (Agbassa) Warri Community streets of Akporue, Okandeji and Okoye as well as the ongoing road expansion and gutter construction projects in the Otovwodo (Agbassa) area of Lower Erejuwa Road.

Digbori was also full of praises and appreciation for Governor Oborevwori for the appointment of Agbarha Warri indigenes so far.

“We have never had it so good. He is God sent to us,” he added.

Digbori however appealed to Governor Oborevwori for more patronage just as he humbly stated that Otovwodo ( Agbassa) Warri Community roads of Mowoe , Igbi , Smart , Father Healey and Ikomi were in their worst deplorable state.

He noted that perennial flooding was one of the causes of the deplorable state of the said streets .
Digbori therefore appealed to Governor Oborevwori for their rehabilitation.

He had earlier listed the Agbarha Warri authomous communities in Warri South Local Government Area to include : Otovwodo ( Agbassa), Igbudu, Edjeba, Ogunu, Okurode ( Ekurede Urhobo ) , Ukpokiti ( riverine ) and Oteghele ( riverine).
