Otovwodo Ruling House Declares Support For New Ovie Of Agbarha-Warri

The Otovwodo Family of Otovwodo/ Edjeba Ruling House of Agbarha Warri kingdom in Warri South Local Government Area has declared its total support for the newly installed Agbarha Warri monarch, HRM Kingsley Orereh Atanerhu 1, Igbi 11.
A spokesman of Otovwodo Family of the Otovwodo / Edjeba Ruling House , Chief Gabriel Bazunu made the declaration at a press conference in Warri at the weekend.
He explained that the press conference was in reaction to opposition of some members of Utien Family of Edjeba against the Installation of the new traditional ruler.

Bazunu urged the Delta State Government and indeed the general public to know that the said Utien Family cannot speak on behalf of Otovwodo / Edjeba Ruling House .
” Besides Utien Family is just one of the 3 Quarters that comprised Edjeba Community.
” As for we the Otovwodo people, we are in total support of the Installation of HRM Kingsley Orereh Atanerhu 1 Igbi 11 as the Ovie of Agbarha Warri.
” We are in support of the process that led to his emergence as our new king,” he added.
Chief Bazunu thanked Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for his contribution towards the peaceful process that led to the Installation of the new traditional ruler.
He however appealed for the quick presentation of staff of office to HRM Kingsley Orereh Atanerhu 1 Igbi 11, the Ovie of the kingdom.
A member of Utien Family, Comrade Stephenson Obioru, Diabeta Bazunu, Chief Christian Bazunu , and Ochuko Bazunu who spoke at the press conference corroborated the statements of Chief Gambrel Bazunu.
