Three In Police Net For Killing Barber In Abraka

Three youths resident in Eku have been arrested for the murder of a barber in Abraka, Data State.

Police Public Relations Officer in.the state, DSP Bright Edafe, on Monday, disclosed this in a post via his X handle.

Although the names of the deceased and suspects were not disclosed, the three young boys are said to have contracted the barber in Abraka for #15,000.

According to the post, “the barber said he was too busy, so the boys asked for a refund.”

Adding: “The Barber refunded #5,000 promising to pay the balance the next day. The three boys later went to his shop, to make their dreads, a fight ensued between them and the barber, during which one of them used an iron mopping stick to hit the barber.”

Edafe said the barber was rushed to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

The suspects are presently at State CID Asaba, saying the incidence was “something that could have been avoided.”
