Super Eagles Should Sustain Display Against Ivory Coast- Christian Obodo

Former Nigeria Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo has commended the performance of the senior National team led by Ekong Troost after a 1-0 Victory against the host of the 34th Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.
The former Florentina and Udineze defensive Midfielder commended all departments of the team and appreciated Coach Jose Peseiro technical insight and understanding of the high tempo game by making the right introduction upfront of the person of Onuachu .
“It seems our current players in the Super Eagles take criticism more seriously. Comparing their friendly games to the big stage, they now play as the real Super Eagles. I admire their composure of team work and living up to the the cry of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Senator John Enoh to make Nigerians proud.”.
While speaking to Oasis sports correspondent from his London base, he advised that the Eagles should maintain their composure and never give Guinea Bissau a chance in their last group game as it will determine their qualification quest.

Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau last group game will take place on Monday, 22nd January, by 18 GMT at Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny staduim.
After defeating host Ivory Coast 1-0, Nigeria Super Eagles are now second in the Group A table with 4 points plus two goals behind Equatorial Guinea they played a 1-1 draw in the opening game with equal points but two goal difference.
