Niger Delta Group Passes Vote Of Confidence On Ndiomu, Commends His Management Of PAP

The Niger Delta Youths Advocates has passed a vote of confidence on the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Maj-General Barry Ndiomu (Retd) for his proactive and effective management of the presidential since assumption in office.

Maj-General Ndiomu (Retd) was appointed as interim administrator of the programme by former President Muhammadu Buhari on the 21st of September, 2022, after Col. Milland Dikkio’s sack, for more experienced, knowledgeable and competent hand in managing the programme.

The group fervently commended the amnesty boss for his outstanding performance and effective management of the presidential amnesty programme towards achieving the core objectives of the establishment of the programme for the common benefit of the ex-agitators and beneficiaries.

“Ndiomu’s appointment as an interim administrator of the presidential amnesty programme, has reshaped and restructured the intervention agency by correcting so many abnormalities and irregularities of the programme for the attainment of the core objectives,” the group said.

The group spokesperson, Comrade Oyinkuro Patrick reiterated the group’s continuous support of Ndiomu’s administration in building and growing the intervention programme towards improving the welfare of the ex-agitators and beneficiaries of the programme.

“Ndiomu with his outstanding wealth of knowledge, ideas, experience and understanding of the programme, has made tremendous improvement since assumption in office in reviving the presidential amnesty programme from collapse and termination, which is highly commendable,” he added.

The group appealed to stakeholders, political and traditional leaders of the Niger Delta to continue to support and work closely with the interim administrator for the attainment of the core objectives of the establishment of the programme for the betterment of the Niger Delta.

The group further called on President Bola Tinubu to appoint Maj-General Barry Ndiomu (Retd) as a substantive coordinator of the presidential amnesty programme for continuous effective management of the presidential amnesty programme.
