Tebite Tasks Ughelli Indigenes On Support For Gov Oborevwori’s Govt.

The Executive Director, Projects, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon. Talib Tebite, has called on the Ughelli Descendants Union, UDU, to continue to support the government of Rt. Hon. Sherriff Oborevwori so they can continue to get the dividend of democracy
He made this call today at his office at DESOPADEC headquarters, Warri, when delegates of Ughelli Descendants Union paid him a courtesy visit.
Responding in his remark, Olorogun Tebite expressed his appreciation to the group for the visit saying “I feel honored and filled with so much joy for your visit. I am humbled by the show of love from my Ughelli people, my parents own property in Ughelli and I also own properties in Ughelli, I can say Ughelli has done me well.”
He also expressed his appreciation to God for the triumph of the Governor of Delta State at the Supreme Court, adding, “it is by your prayers and that of all Urhobo kingdoms and other local governments in Delta State, the Governor is here today, and he is the reason I am also here; therefore, I want to thank you all and also the Governor of Delta State.”
He urged the people to always support the government and the People’s Democratic Party.
Earlier, the President-General of Ughelli Descendants Union, Chief Samuel Akpimegi felicitated with Chief Tebite on his appointment as the Executive Director of Projects in DESOPDEC.
Chief Akpimegi appealed to the management of DESOPADEC to come to their aid in providing security for residents of Ughelli, and a vehicle to ease transportation for the union.
