A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uvwie Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant, Pastor Vincent Ekedayen held crusades at Alaka Community, in Effurun and Ekpan Community all in Uvwie Local Government Area recently.
Ekedayen who is pastor in Redeemed Christian Church of God ( RCCG ) tagged the crusades ‘LET THE LIGHT SHINE ‘ as he took his text from the bible book of Isaiah Chapter 60 verse 1- 2.
He asserted that Uvwie Local Government Area carried a light and that it was time for the light to shine.
Ekedayen prophezied that the light of the youth, women and men in Uvwie Kingdom will begin to shine brighter.
Highlights of the crusades were the donation of 13 bags of garri as palliatives by Pastor Vincent Ekedayen Outreach Foundation to those at the crusade in Alaka Community in Effurun and 13 bags of garri to those in the crusade in Ekpan Community at the close of each of the crusade.
He had in a media chat with our correspondent , explained that the gesture was aimed at alleviating the effects of the hard times in Nigeria.
“We can not deny the fact that there is hunger in the land.and the government cannot do everything.

“The little palliative is his own little way of supporting the M.O.R.E AGENDA of our Amiable Governor, His Excellency Rt.Hon.Elder.Sheriff Francis Oberevwori,” he added.
While calling on stakeholders to support the administration of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda, he urged his fellow aspirants to emulate the gesture of Pastor Vincent Ekedayen Outreach Foundation.
“A good leader does not wait to get into power before touching lives positively,” he added.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, some old women prayed for Pastor Vincent Ekedayen at the crusade ground in Ekpan.
