The students of Girls’ Secondary School, Kwale expressed joy as their Annual Inter-House Athletic Competition holds on the 7th of March, 2024.

Inter-House Athletic Competition is the period when students showcase their God given talents. It is one of the extra curricular activities in school system.

During the Annual Inter-House Sport Athletic Competition in Girls’ Secondary School, Kwale, over the years, ample opportunities were given to high performing students to gain scholarship(s) of various kinds, get learning materials, cash gifts, etc.

In the last years’ Inter-House Athletic Competition, high performing students benefited from their patrons, many students’ West African Examinations Council (WAEC) registration fees were paid, some school levies were paid, cash gifts and learning materials were given to many. One of the patrons that made a unique achievement was Mr. Akpe Stephen, of Blue House who paid WAEC registration fees for many students and other patrons positively impacted on students in their Houses in various ways.

Due to the uniqueness of last years’ Inter-House Athletic Competition in terms of good gesture shown by patrons, the students of the school are presently putting more effort to ensure that such opportunities will not elude them this year.

Mr Akpe Stephen, the patron of Blue House effort in assisting the deserving students get their WAEC registration paid is in the annals of the school. And it remains indelible in the minds of staff and students of Girls’ Secondary School, Kwale.

Other patrons who have made remarkable impact on the lives of students are High Chief Ezekwu, T of Green House, High Chief (Barr.) Akpe, P.E of Yellow House and the Old Girls’ pf Pink House. Due to none viability of some patrons, Hon (Barr.) Mbanugo, V, Hon. Jeffery Azagba, Special Adviser to His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori governor of Delta State and Hon. Nnmadi Ezechi, member representing Ukwuani/Ndokwa Federal Constituency in the National House of Representatives were made patrons.

The students of the school are practising with high hopes and aspirations, believing God that high performing students will be rewarded with scholarship(s) of any kind. The staff and students once again welcome every well meaning Nigerian, who has love for education, sports and interest of Girls’ Secondary School to their Inter-House Athletic Competition. They pray God to grant them journey mercy in Jesus name.
