DELSU Gets New Governing Council Chairman, As Igbakpa Makes List As Member

Oborevwori, has named Gen. Alexander Odeareduo Ogomudia (Rtd) as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to State Government (SSG), Dr Kingsley Emu, on Monday.

Recall that at the weekend, Oborevwori had promised to constitute a new Governing Council for the institution during the 16th convocation of DELSU.

The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, has approved the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of the following State institutions:

The governor also approved the appointment of Barr. Doris Ejinyere, Rt Hon. Martins Okonta, Hon Ben Igbakpa and Sir Andrew Odum SAN as members.

Members with tenure still running are Chief Peter Yerinde Biakpara, Prof. Usiwoma Evowoma-Enuku and Chief Surv. Terry Noah.

Meanwhile, the governor also approved the reconstitution of the Governing Councils of other state institutions.
