Iyasere Of Evwreni Hosts Chiefs For Development Of The Kingdom

The Iyasere of Evwreni Kingdom, High Chief Joseph Aduge, over the weekend, played host to chiefs of the ancient Urhobo Kingdom of Evwreni in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

High Chief Aduge who is also the traditional Prime Minister of the kingdom, spoke to newsmen shortly after the meeting, as he explained that the meeting was hosted for the purpose of fostering peace, unity among the people and for the progress of the kingdom.

He also disclosed that the meeting was aimed at improving the relationship between chiefs and the palace.

The respected high chief of Evwreni Kingdom further disclosed that welfare and cordial relationship among chiefs of the kingdom was among the agenda of the meeting.

He expressed satisfaction over the huge turnout of chiefs of Evwreni Kingdom for the meeting just as he urged those who could not make it to endeavour to attend the next meeting at the same venue; his Evwreni residence.

He averred that meeting of chiefs of the kingdom will be held at his Evwreni residence once monthly.

He had earlier expressed his unalloyed loyalty and support for HRM Oghenekevwe Owin Kumane, Eruvwedede 111 (JP ), the Ovie of Evwreni Kingdom, just as he remarked that the traditional ruler is a blessing to the kingdom.
