Odogwu Of Ogwashi-Uku Sues For Peace

High Chief Gabriel Ohai, the Odogwu of Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, has called on residents of the community to sustain the existing peace and continue to work towards the development and growth of the community.
The Odogwu made the call while hosting a security meeting with officers from the Police Area Comand, Ogwashi-Uku division, the DSS, NDLEA, Anti-Cult and Vigilante groups in the kingdom.

the prominent role in restoring the relative peace enjoyed in Ogwashi-Uku harped on the need for continuous peaceful coexistence among indigenes and residents in the community.
The traditional warlord reiterated the kingdom’s commitment to prosecute all criminal elements that are directly or remotely causing insecurity (especially cult killings) in the kingdom.

According to him, the people of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom are popularly and historically known to be a peace loving people and cannot afford to watch such legacies being destroyed by unscrupulous elements.
While emphasizing the need to prioritize security in the community, he commended security agencies for their role in reinstating peace in the Kingdom.
