Commissioners For Transport, Youths Back NADESSTU’s Students Work Life Preparatory Summit
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Youth Development, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinme Issac, has declared his unwavering support for the M.O.R.E AGENDA by endorsing the Delta State Students Work Life Preparatory Summit.
The NADESSTU President; Comr. Wiska Monday who disclosed this in a statement, said the aim of the summit will provide students from Delta State origin with the requisite skills, knowledge and resources to prepare themselves for life after school.”
He added: “One reason why we have high levels of unemployment in the country is that some students fail to prepare themselves for life after school, thinking that immediately after graduation, there is a job waiting for them. This is why as an association we feel it is important to put this summit together to help our students become productive immediately after school which is in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda of our Governor; Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori.”
According to him, during a visit to the said commissioner recently, he promised to back the event.
The Commissioner during the visit of the association’s leaders, hinted that “the quality of resource personnel for the summit of this nature matters a lot so as to deliver exponentially on the drive behind this summit to the students.”
In a related development,
the Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Onoriode Agofure has also declared his support for the summit.

In his response to the National President, during a courtesy visit to him, he said “I will support this summit to ensure it’s a success because the aim of the summit has the potentials of impacting meaningfully in the lives of students and it will help domesticate the M.O.R.E agenda in the students community.”
