1st Anniversary: Integrity Group Commends DTHA For Working In Synergy With Other Arms Of Government

As the 8th Assembly marked one year anniversary under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, the Integrity Group of Delta State has commended the assembly for working in synergy with executive and judiciary arms of government in the state.

The Integrity Group in a congratulatory message signed by the Convener and Chairman, Dr. Oke Idawene and Hon. Barth Ozah, Director of Media and Communication and made available to journalist at the weekend, said the stability in the state assembly led by Emomotimi Guwor has enhanced peace and security as well as good governance in the state.

The statement added that the House has made significant strides in carrying out its constitutional duties, including: Screening and confirming nominees for appointment into the State Executive Council, agencies of government and ensuring efficient and effective administration of government in the state.

“Integrity Group commend Delta assembly members and Speaker for living up to its reputation as the “most vibrant House of Assembly in the country,” drafting and adopting the 8th Legislative Agenda, a policy thrust aligned with the M.O.R.E Agenda of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.

“We equally applaud the house for building the capacity of its workforce through training and retraining, ensuring the staff is equipped to supporting the legislative duties and in turn contributing immensely in the implementation of MORE agenda of the governor.”

Integrity Group noted with delights the Speaker’s commitment to lawmaking, representation, oversight and collaborating with the Executive arm to ensure development reaches every part of the state through constituency projects.

According to the statement, Integrity Group of Delta state, the MORE agenda and You Matter Charity Foundation ambassadors, will continue to promote good governance through adequate publicity as it concern the achievements of the three arms of government in the state.
