BREAKING: DTSG Postpones 2024 BECE Scheduled To Begin Monday

By Magnus Emuji
Delta State Ministry of Secondary Education has postponed the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, June 3, until further notice.
A statement from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Augustine Oghoro, on behalf of the Commissioner for Secondary Education, Mrs Rose Ezewu said that the postponement was as a result of the nationwide strike declared by the Organized Labour over the inability of the Federal Government to reach an agreement with labour on the new national minimum wage.
