Gunmen Abduct Musa Shuaibu After Dusk Prayer

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the Madakin of Shabu Chiefdom, Alhaji Musa Shuaibu, reports confirmed.

The incident occurred on Thursday night around 8pm in Shabu, outskirt of Lafia metropolis.

Mr Shuaibu was said to have been kidnapped few meters away from his residence after observing the dusk prayer (Isha’i) in a Mosque in the area.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, has also confirmed the incident.

“Yeah. It is true. Effort is ongoing to arrest the criminals and rescue the victim,” Nansel was quoted as saying by Nasarawa Newsline on Friday.
