Rauf Aregbesola Is Not Our Member, Says Osun APC
The All Progressives Congress in Osun State has stated that a Former minister of Interior and Ex-Governor of the State, Alh. Rauf Aregbesola is not a member of the Party.
The statement is coming shortly after Aregbesola recently established a group called ‘Omoluabi Progressives’ and launched its membership registration at his ward over the weekend.
The APC, through a communique signed by state chairman Tajudeen Lawal, officially informed party leadership about the upcoming electronic party membership registration as directed by the national secretariat.
The communique also warned members against registering with Aregbesola’s group.

“We are discouraging our loyal APC members from registering with Aregbesola’s group because Omoluabi Progressives is not recognized as part of our party in Osun state.”
“As far as we are concerned in Osun APC, Rauf Aregbesola is no longer a member of the APC.”
“We have notified the national secretariat three times about the distractions Aregbesola is causing within the party’s affairs in the state and have urged them to take appropriate action.”
“If we cannot manage his case at the state level, we have referred the matter to the national secretariat, and I am confident they will address it soon.”
