BREAKING: Onyeka Onwenu Is Dead

Prominent Nigerian singer, actress, media personality, and politician, Onyeka Owenu is dead.

She was said to have died at the Reddington Hospital in Lagos after slumping at the 80th birthday celebration of Dr Stella Chinyelu Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

An eyewitness who was at the party who confirmed the sad news to TheNiche said: “It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli today, and after performing, she slumped. She was taken to Reddington Hospital and she couldn’t make it.”

She was born on January 17, 1952.
