Give Us Legacy Projects, Residents Charge Newly Sworn-in Sapele Council Chairman, Abeke

The newly sworn-in Chairman of Sapele Local Government Council, Hon Bright Abeke, has been charged by residents to focus on legacy projects that will improve the lives of the people and transform the council area. The residents, who spoke to newsmen after the chairman’s inauguration, expressed their expectations and hopes for the new administration.
Speaking to newsmen, a resident who simply gave is name as Atagana Samson said “We want to see tangible projects that will benefit us, not just promises, We need better roads, water supply, healthcare facilities, and education infrastructure. These are the things that will improve our lives and make Sapele a better place.”
Mr. Tony Ijeh, a youth leader in Oton Community who spoke to newsmen, echoed similar sentiments. “We want the chairman to create jobs for us, provide skills acquisition training, and empower us to start our own businesses. We also need better security and a more efficient waste management system.”
The residents’ demands are not unfounded. Sapele Local Government Area has been plagued by lack of economic opportunities. Some roads are in a deplorable state, and many communities lack access to clean water and healthcare facilities.

Despite these challenges, the residents are optimistic that Chairman Abeke will deliver on his campaign promises. “We believe in the chairman’s ability to transform Sapele,” said Mrs. Edema a resident of major bowen area. “We are confident that he will follow the footsteps of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the MORE AGENDA project for us here in sapele. ”
Chairman Abeke, in his inauguration speech, promised to prioritize the needs of the people and deliver projects that will transform the council area. “I am committed to serving the people of Sapele with integrity, transparency, and accountability,” he said. “I will work tirelessly to improve our infrastructure, provide social amenities, and create economic opportunities for our people.”
As the chairman is set to settles into office, the residents of Sapele are eagerly waiting to see the fulfillment of his promises.
They are hopeful that the new administration will bring the desired change and improve their lives. Only time will tell if Chairman Abeke will deliver on his promises and leave a lasting legacy in Sapele Local Government Area.
