Shamar School Holds Resumption Service For Learners

The famous Shamar School, Enerhen in Uvwie Local Government Area, held a Resumption Service for learners for the 2024 /2025 academic session on Monday, 9th September, 2024.

The event was historic and unique as it featured prophetic administration, praise and worship and cutting of the resumption service cake.

The proprietress of the school, renowned educationist cum counselor, Dr( Mrs) Ambassador Onyi Ikemefuna in her welcome address assured learners and parents as well as teachers and staff of a better academic session that will be second to none in Delta State.

Guest Speaker at the epoch making event, Pastor Salem Maigeri from Kano State, showered prophetic ministration on the Chairman of Sharma Educational foundation, Greg Ikemefuna, an engineer, the Proprietress of the school, Dr (Mrs) Ambassador Onyi Ikemefuna, learners, teachers and staff.

He remarked that Dr( Mrs)Ambassador Ikemefuna was an epitome of excellence, as he urged parents who have not identified with the school to do so if they want the very best for their wards.

True to this, a parent Mrs Amurum Jennifer Oganufa who spoke at the event stated that she was fortunate to take her wards to the school and that she has seen a rapid improvement in the lives of her children academically.

Greg Ikemefuna an engineer who also spoke, disclosed that the academic excellence which the school was known for, was an inspiration from God.

A child of Engineer & Dr (Mrs) Ambassador Ikemefuna, Mr David Ikemefuna was full of praises for his parents for the establishment of the famous school as he proudly and gladly remarked that the school has positively impacted the lives of both former and present learners.

While a teacher in the school, John Ojakovo assured that “we will do our best to bring the best out of the learners.”

High points of the colorful event were the cutting of cake, praise and worship by learners of the school among others.
