2025 AFCON Qualifier: CAF Makes Latest Pronouncement On Libya, Nigeria Game
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has released the latest update about the botched game between Libya and Nigeria,
The match which was initially scheduled for Tuesday evening has been unofficially cancelled after the Super Eagles of Nigeria refused to play the game.
The Libya Football Federation on Tuesday morning continued with the preparation for the game.
But CAF on Tuesday afternoon officially informed the Libya Football Federation that the game has been postponed.
CAF further stated that the game was postponed due to the circumstances and difficulties in organizing the match on time.
