Poju Oyemade Warns Pastors Claiming To Be ‘Shaking Tables’
By Daniel Dafe
Pastor Poju Oyemade of Covenant Nation has warned pastors that claim to be ‘shaking doctrinal tables’ to be careful.
The cleric said this in a post on X on Wednesday.
Dr. Abel Damina and a few other preachers in recent times have bragged that they are determined to shake and scatter tables, a term that means countering the doctrines of others that they believe are in error.
Damina, especially is known for his verbal attacks of the doctrines of others. He also uses insulting words on other preachers he thinks are in errors.
In one of his messages, he said: “We will shake and scatter the tables.”

Although Oyemade did not mention any names, he added: “Many who in the years past “shook tables” only came to later on realise they ended shaking only their own table, the one they were standing on and ended up destroying their ministries.”
“It was too late to recall the words they had spoken,” he said.
He continued: “The guiding principle is this, make sure everything you teach is from a place of love seeking the highest good of the listeners and not to show what you think you know.
“Anything done outside of love will make you end up like the gentleman in this image. Knowledge puffeth up but love edifies.”
